Audrey L. Allen, Esq.
Attorney Audrey Allen is a graduate of Rutgers University School of Law, Camden, New Jersey, having received her Juris Doctorate. She received a B.A. in Spanish and Communications from Wake Forest University, Winston-Salem, North Carolina. She is the founder of Audrey Allen Immigration Law.
Prior to opening her immigration law practice ten years ago, Ms. Allen worked for the largest corporate immigration firm in the world, where she handled all the immigration needs of the firm’s largest client, a Big Four Accounting Firm. In 2006, Ms. Allen chose to focus exclusively on immigration and nationality law and has since fought tirelessly for families to stay together in the United States. She has received national recognition for her advocacy on behalf of seriously ill children and is considered one of the preeminent experts on medical deferred action.
Ms. Allen has represented clients in family-based and employment-based petitions before the United States Citizenship and Immigration Services and U.S. Consulates across the globe. She has extensive experience in appellate filings and has represented hundreds of clients before the Executive Office for Immigration Review in bond hearings and removal proceedings. Ms. Allen provides representation for non-immigrant and immigrant visas for corporate and individual clients. She keep clients informed of developing immigration policies in areas such as I-9 employment, avoiding national origin discrimination, and hiring and terminating foreign nationals. She is a sought after expert in basic immigration for general counsel and human relations departments of multinational corporations as well as labor and employment attorneys, providing in-house presentations that include corporations servicing information technology consulting, accounting and taxation, and other hi-tech industries.
Extremely active in pro-bono efforts, Ms. Allen assisted in founding a monthly pro-bono immigration clinic at the Irish Diaspora Center, which has assisted hundreds of immigrants in need of free legal assistance. She continues to volunteer monthly at the clinic and also handles pro-bono immigration matters for clients from the Legal Clinic for the Disabled’s (LCD) Medical-Legal Partnership (MLP) with St. Christopher’s Hospital for Children. Ms. Allen also trains LCD staff and healthcare partners, medical residents, social workers, and physicians at St. Christopher’s Hospital, on immigration issues that impact the families LCD serves. She also provides free consultations at monthly immigration clinics offered at La Comunidad and Migrant Ministries, both located in Kennett Square, Pennsylvania. Ms. Allen also presents Know Your Rights presentations frequently.
