Pedro de Castro is an experienced immigration attorney with a passion for advocating on behalf of immigrants and refugees. He holds a Bachelor of Law degree from Universidad Autónoma de Madrid and a Master of Laws (LL.M.) cum laude from Fordham University School of Law. Admitted to practice law in Spain since 2011 and in New York since 2017, Pedro has gained substantial legal experience across multiple jurisdictions, including Spain, Peru, and the United States.
Pedro began his legal career working with immigrants and refugees on the border between Peru and Chile, an experience that shaped his professional path. His commitment to social justice and immigration law has been a driving force throughout his career. In New York, he worked representing immigrants and asylum seekers.
Pedro’s recent work has centered on civil litigation and arbitration in Spain, with appearances before general and provincial courts as well as the Supreme Court. He has also been actively involved in pro bono work, notably in the creation of Fundación Pro Bono España, Spain’s first and only pro bono clearinghouse.
Fluent in both Spanish and English, Pedro continues to be a dedicated advocate for immigrants and refugees, bringing a wealth of international legal experience and a strong commitment to his clients.
